BBBSMD has launched a new
exciting Activity Based mentoring program called Sports Buddies! This program provides
a fun and interactive opportunity to mentor boys 7-14.
Through our Sports Buddies
partnerships with Think Detroit PAL, YMCA-Boll Family Center, Northwest Activities
Center, the Detroit Pistons and the Detroit Tigers Sports Buddies offer a variety of
sports related activities, such as, sports clinics, swimming, and tickets to
professional sporting events, all of which help promote health, fitness, and teamwork
in youth. Sports Buddies Bigs and Littles get together twice a month to attend a sporting
event, like a Piston or Tiger game and to participate in their choice of a variety of
activities. Be a Mentor, Build Character Through Sports!
