  • Secretary of State Ruth Johnson Partners with Big Brothers Big Sisters to provide at-risk youth with Drivers Education Opportunities
  • Vehicular crashes are the number one cause of death for teenagers in the United States. According to the Michigan Department of Community Health, approximately three (3) out of five (5) fortuitous deaths for teenagers and young adults ages 15-24, are due to motor vehicle accidents. In response to these alarming statistics, Michigan Secretary of State Ruth Johnson has partnered with Big Brothers Big Sisters agencies throughout Michigan, the T. Wall Foundation, and All-Star Driving School to afford Graduated Driver Licensing courses for at-risk youth.
