All affiliated with Big Brothers Big Sisters are expected to live the value of ongoing education, as this is the basis of good citizenship, job readiness and personal growth and fulfullment.

Career Choices

The "Career Choices" program curriculum is a national program of Big Brothers Big Sisters of America.  The focus of the program is aimed at engaging youth (14-16 yrs of age) in education and youth development activities that explore various themes of career exploration. self-awareness, communication, decision-making, team work and academic success.  The program is designed to assist Big's (mentors) in integrating important life concepts of work and education into regular day-to-day interactions with their Little's (mentee).

Lunch Buddies

The “Lunch Buddies” program places volunteer (mentor) with elementary and middle school youth. Volunteers are matched with youth at a specific elementary school/site location to work one-on-one or in small groups to help students achieve academic success, social and life skills. This mentoring program provides a wonderful opportunity for mentors who wish to volunteer in a more structured setting.

High School Big Leaders

The program is designed to provide High School Big’s (mentors) and Little’s (mentees) the opportunity to meet for one-to-one mentoring in a group setting after-school at a designated school and/or community center. The focus of the program is aimed at engaging High School juniors and seniors (Bigs) with elementary age students (Little’s) in mentoring relationships. The program has a designed curriculum that focuses on academic success, leadership, communication, and fun activities.
