Little Sister Amayah & Big Sister Elizabeth

Little Sister Amayah and Big Sister Elizabeth recently attended a Detroit Pistons game, thanks to BBBSMD's partnership with the team to offer affordable tickets to our matches. Amayah had never been to a basketball game and was surprised by how much she enjoyed it.

 

What made it even more special is that this match began their relationship virtually. As the pandemic has ebbed and flowed since 2020, Big Sister Elizabeth has done an amazing job to connect with Amayah and bring experiences to her life that she would not otherwise have had.
