Volunteer to be a
Big Neighbor
Big Neighbors is a movement to secure funding so we can continue supporting our youth, as well as providing resources for families. Volunteers purchase non-perishable groceries and household products, and arrange delivery to the home of the Little Brother or Little Sister. We are also seeking contributions of laptop computers for children who need to do their school work.
Please complete the survey below if you can offer assistance to a family. Volunteers should make every effort to complete each order. But due to limited availability of some items, there is no guarantee that all items will be delivered. You may purchase alternative items when appropriate. You may also provide additional items if you choose. Each delivery is a one-time donation.
Delivery can be done by volunteers or commercial grocery services such as Amazon or Instacart. Volunteers are required to drop the delivery on the front porch of the receiving family in order to maintain social distancing. If the recipient lives in an apartment, groceries should be brought to the front door. Please confirm time of delivery with BBBS staff. Please maintain a safe distance of six feet from those receiving the goods to prevent flu transmission.
