Big Brothers Big Sisters of Metropolitan Detroit has been awarded a $25,000 grant from Bank of America to support career-focused mentoring. The Career Buddies program pairs teens with adults, with a focus on helping teens envision, plan for, and realize success after high school. Whether the teen intends to go to college or trade school, or enter the workforce, the mentor helps to empower the teen through guidance, friendship, and encouragement. Meetings take place on-site at
