
The results are in and we're excited to share that Big Brothers Big Sisters of Metropolitan Detroit finished the 2018 Quicken Loans Community Challenge in 8th place raising $16,061.
BBBS was nominated to participate in the 2018 Quicken Loans Detroit Community Challenge, a fundraising competition on CrowdRise, the largest crowdfunding platform for good. The Quicken Loans Detroit Community Challenge is a friendly fundraising competition where Detroit based charities competed to raise the most money with the top teams winning cash prizes from Quicken Loans. About 50 charities competed to win $100,000 in prize money.
Each week a special Bonus Challenge to earn additional cash was implemented. Because of our amazing supporters BBBS is proud to share that we're the winner of Bonus Challenge Week #5 receiving $50 matched gifts totaling $250. Bringing BBBS overall fundraising total to $16,311.
