Big Sister Tixiana & Little Sister Zahara

Since being matched in May 2022, Tixiana and Zahara have been very active. They have gone to the movies and Tigers and Lions games. They have also done more low-key activities like taking a walk, going to a local park, and exploring Downtown Detroit. When Zahara and Tixiana can’t meet in person they keep in touch with Facetime and iMessage games.  At Christmas 2022, Zahara got a bike through our partners at Free Bikes 4 Kidz.  And in February 2023, they celebrated Zahara’s Sweet 16 birthday.  Tixiana took Zahara to Quickly Boba Cafe, where they enjoyed bubble tea and board games. We look forward to hearing about more of Zahara and Tixiana’s adventures!
